Have you heard? The FEI North American Junior and Young Riders Championships are coming to Area VIII |
|
They will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park on July 21-26th. This is good news to our Area Junior and Young Riders. Why? One, because the cost of transportation for our Area VIII teams will be much lower than in years past. Two, many of our Area's riders are very familiar with the KHP. And, while there may not be any real "home advantage", knowing the park and the lay of the land can't hurt. And three, this is a great way for our Area's up-and-coming Juniors and Young Riders to participate in helping at the competition and that will give them an idea of what to expect when it is their turn to ride for the Area. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mary Fike
