Equestrian Events, Inc. Awards Area VIII Young Riders Program Generous Donation

Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), organizer of the Land Rover Kentucky Three Day Event, presented the Area VIII Young Riders Program a generous $2,000 donation to support their goal of attending the 2018 Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC).

The Championships, presented by Gotham North, is the premier equestrian competition in North America for Junior and Young Riders, age 14-21. The 2018 NAJYRC Championships will be held at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Mont.

Area VIII focuses much of its year on fundraising for this event in an effort to make attendance affordable for all Area VIII NAJYRC team members.

Alexandra Baugh, 2017 NAJC CCI* Individual Silver Medalist and Area VIII Young Rider Member accepted the donation on behalf of the program.

“As a member of the Area VIII Young Riders (Program) this donation is appreciated and heart felt in that corporations are willing to believe in and support young riders and the future of eventing."

Equestrian Events, Inc., in the heart of Area VIII, is a Lexington, Ky. based non-profit, charitable organization that supports the development of riders and horses in sports recognized by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI).

Lee Carter, Executive Director of EEI, echoed the organization’s dedication to the development of the next generation of riders.

“Riders who participate in young rider programs are the future of our sport, so EEI is proud to support the Area VIII Young Rider Program.  Hopefully our contribution will help these riders as they go forward.”
